Gibson Electric provided electrical construction services on a mission-critical data storage campus for a confidential client.
The project was on a demanding, fast-track schedule, which required highly proficient project management and detailed preplanning. Gibson combined cutting-edge building information modeling (BIM) practices with extensive prefabrication of critical components in order to meet the challenging time-frame. Effective management of manpower kept crew fresh and focused on the tasks at hand.
Client Objectives
In order to meet growing demand for data storage, this client required a new mission- critical campus comprised of three buildings, totaling 580,000 square feet.
Solutions
During this project, Gibson installed 60 megawatts of utility power, 44 megawatts of uninterruptible power supply (UPS), and 80 megawatts of generator power across the entirety of the 23-acre campus.
